We are all a work in progress and I am opting to be transparent about the work I am doing on myself.

Strengths: Ambitious, Caring, Passionate

Curiosity, investigative, risk taker (learn from failure), embrace ambiguity, optimistic

Self-confidence can be threatening to others - working on awareness of how I talk to teammates
Initiate - I like starting things but get bored after a while if I’m not challenged

Potential conflict areas of my Enneagram type that I need to watch out for:
8: blunt, willful, domineering, forceful, defiant, confrontational, bad-tempered, cynical
7: scattered, distracted, restless, impatient, escapist, over-extended, irresponsible, demanding

Need for autonomy (freedom): makes me a good fit where boss can’t/won’t micromanage
Passion: good fit for cause work and passionate cultures, enthusiastic when inspired
Courage: helps me do what others will not, do what is right, say the thing no one wants to say
Empowering: makes me a good leader - can be management or can be a movement
Strength: good in crisis and can handle a lot of stress

Vision: makes me a threat unless I have a position to inform strategy
Justice: makes me crazy when I’m in an environment that is unethical
Creativity: easily look at how to do things differently (not good in status quo environment)
Generosity: can be bad when I put organization’s needs above mine, but I’m a giver, not a taker
